Subdivision Design

Whether you are working in rural areas with large parcels of land, or designing new Urban Subdivisions or Community Titles, your design process will be quicker and easier with CDS from Foresight.

As well as the normal range of COGO (Coordinate Geometry) routines which you have come to expect by now (and can find in a pocket calculator), Foresight has implemented a package of 'automated' routines to speed up the calculation of 'standard' items such as court bowls (aka cul-de-sacs) and road boundaries and the like.

Roads become simple to calculate and you can automatically have the road edges and road boundaries calculated and drawn by simply telling the program what centreline to follow and what pattern this particular road is to be.

In addition, you can store away commonly used 'structures' be they house layouts or intersection details, and insert them into any set of calculations.

The screen below shows a subdivision in the process of design.

You can see from the different colours that layers have been assigned to assist with the process, and you can turn groups of design elements on and off at will.
All the routines are simple to use with 'popup' windows prompting you for any input which is needed.
