Megs

Megs_Log is a Windows-based graphics application designed for use by exploration and mine geologists. It has been created to allow rapid manipulation and interpretation for correction of Prolog bore logs with associated down-hole geophysical data. It's main features include:

Interactive Borehole Visualization - rapid scrolling up and down a graphic bore hole, comparison of two bores side by side.
Interactive Geophysics Visualization - viewing of multiple LAS files alongside the graphic bores, offsetting of traces to correct for inaccurate starting of a geophysical tool.
Interactive Borehole editting - graphical adjustment of the borehole using tools to create or move boundaries, set rock types, delete and insert units.
Seam Correlation and Sample Numbering.

All edits/corrections made in Megs_Log are saved back to the original Prolog data file to create a completely adjusted log.
