First step in creating a print out is to click the "page setup" menu item. The following dialog is displayed. This contains all the features needed to control how the print/plot will be displayed. In the example below we wish to plot and fit the job extents to an A4 sheet in portrait view. We are using a brother printer.

 Clicking on the drop arrow displays all the printers/plotters installed on the windows computer. Click on the printer you wish to use. In this example we are using a Brother laser jet printer.

 In this example we are simply fitting the extents of the job to the paper. So tick the box. If you want to set your own scale then make sure this box is not ticked.

 Click on the drop arrow if you are setting a paper scale. There are a number of predefined metric and imperial scales. If your scale is not shown select custom and fill in your scales manually.
